There are mornings when you reach for something that holds its own weight. Not delicate. Not quiet. Something that knows what it is.
The strand is all baroque and keishi freshwater pearls, each one a different shape from the last, cream and white and the softest grey, moving through the light as you move through the day. Small gold beads sit between them like punctuation. On one side, the pearls give way to a gold figaro chain, substantial and warm, so the whole piece wears half-wild, half-refined. At the center, a gold heart clasp holds everything together, and suspended below it, a single large baroque pearl catches the light in amber and bronze, a pendant that looks like it washed in from somewhere very far away.
